The president of Fontur, Raquel Garavito Chapaval, visited the department of Bolívar, where she held two important meetings: the first with the governor, Vicente Blel and later with the mayor of Mompox, Guillermo Santos, with whom the following initiatives were defined:
- Validate the support from Fontur for the construction of the second phase of the albarrada, in the municipality of Mompox, as well as the adaptation of a square where the renowned Jazz Festival can be held.
- Likewise, the approval of a destination promotion project for this same municipality was confirmed, for more than $ 600 million, with the purpose of initiating the tourist reactivation in the department.
